Cookies
This site does not use cookies
axilog.io sets no cookies. The analytics are cookieless. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. This page explains the position in slightly more detail.

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website can store in your browser. They can be used for legitimate purposes (keeping you logged in, remembering preferences) or for tracking and advertising. Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), websites must obtain consent before setting non-essential cookies.
Cookies set by axilog.io
None. You can verify this in your browser's developer tools: open the page, open developer tools (typically F12 or Cmd+Option+I), navigate to the Application or Storage panel, and inspect the cookies section for axilog.io. The list is empty.
The site has no login surface, no shopping cart, no preference centre that would require cookies, and no advertising. There is no reason for it to set cookies, and it doesn't.
Cookies set by third parties
None. The site uses a self-hosted analytics tool ( Umami) at umami.speytech.com, which is cookieless by design — it counts page views and referring sources without setting cookies and without forwarding personally identifying data to any third party. No Google Analytics, no Google Tag Manager, no advertising networks, no social-media widgets, no embedded video players, and no fingerprinting scripts are loaded by the site.
localStorage (not a cookie)
For transparency: the site uses one entry in your browser's local storage, named axilog-theme, to remember whether you prefer the light or dark colour theme. This is not a cookie — local storage is a separate browser facility that is never transmitted to the server. The value is only ever read by JavaScript running on your own browser, and it remains on your device until you clear it.
You can inspect or remove the entry from the same developer tools panel that lists cookies. Clearing it simply resets the theme preference; nothing else changes.
If this ever changes
If a future change to the site requires cookies — for example, if a contact form is added that uses a CSRF token, or an authenticated surface is introduced — this page is updated first, the cookies are documented here, and a consent mechanism is added where the cookies are non-essential under PECR.
See also the Privacy Policy for the full description of what the site collects (which is limited to server access logs and cookieless analytics).
